My 2.5 month old has had a cough for a while. Sounded bad but was very random, not often at all so I wasn't worried. Now she has a cold and it has gotten significantly worse. Sounds like a croup type cough. She also had green poop this morning (not normal for her. she's breastfed and I didn't eat anything strange. I took tylenol 2 days ago but that's it).
She has a runny nose and I feel like it's just a virus and not urgent to go the dr tomorrow, but I'm also a little nervous to wait. There are no appts today or tomorrow at our regular clinic so if I can't wait till sunday I'll have to go to walk-in dr. WWYD?

Even if it is RSV, there is nothing to do for it

Yes there is! There’s an antibodies shot that significantly shortens the duration and lightens symptoms . It was a life saver for us when my sons lips kept turning blue and he couldn’t catch his breath

My child was hospitalized for RSV, no fever, but his oxygen dropped suddenly a day or two into the virus.

Yes I’ve never heard of such a thing. It’s also early in the day (unless she’s in a different time zone? ) what’s the point of a doctor that doesn’t have sick visits?

Under 3 months, you get seen today. Call your doctor back and say your under 3 months baby has concerning sympt9ms, they should be able to see you today. If not, then go to a walk in place, and also start looking for a new regular doctor. I've never heard of such a th8ng that a doctor can't see a sick kid same day, especially a baby and more especially under 3 months.

I don't live in the US so it's a different system.. It's not so unusual not to have appts right away, that's why they have seperate walk-in doctors. I can go to walk-in dr today or tomorrow or even saturday night but I just prefer to go to our regular pediatrician's office if it's not urgent. Less germs hanging out in the waiting room, I know the dr's and their style, they know my kids, I trust them much more than someone I never met before.

If you're in Israel and on Maccabi you can call the nurse's line and ask them what to do/where to go/if it can wait. I assume the other kupot have as well but I only know for sure about Maccabi.
This wouldn't get you in to your normal doctor unless they have an open appointment, if you have the number for your doctor's office you can try calling them directly, sometimes they have appointments not through the kupa.
