Is anyone part of Riva Pomerantz's Masterpiece portal? If so, can you describe how it has evolved (I was part of it at the start and it looked like it was shaping up to be something of interest, but I didn't continue once the membership fee kicked in.) Would you recommend joining?

I am a member since last November or so. When I have time to browse and get involved, I really enjoy it. It seems like there's a lot there - and I know I'm not making the most of it. I am not really pursuing my writing right now (too busy to indulge! unfortunately...), but I just know I'll be back at it soon - I hope!!

If I join, is it the sort of thing that will motivate me to write with consistency (that’s the current problem) or does it only make sense if I AM writing?

They have a speaker around once a month, which is great. All members have access to all the replays.
At one point, I posted my progress with writing I was working on, as an accountability thing. Lately I just check in once in a while.
