I have a box of Duncan Hines yellow cake mix. Any ideas to for my 11 year old to make it a bit more exciting

Make them in cupcakes
Once cooled spoon out top of each cupcake and put a spoonful of strawberry jam (I do homemade, or you can buy) then put ton back on and top w whipped cream and a slice of strawberry and strawberry drizzle
