Is it safe to travel to London right now? For those who are very visibly Jewish? I see the news and it makes me think not but I want to hear from those who live there.

I went summer to London, DH and myself are visible Jewish, previously when visiting different parts of UK DH always had people shouting Jew and full anti Semitic drunk shouting at him, he was really afraid to go now especially.
It was a very pleasant safe trip - completely turned around DH hatred to the UK from his previous experiences.

Wow thanks for sharing your experience. I was thinking about going with my family, but I guess unfortunately what we are hearing is really what happens.

I love in London and never felt unsafe.
Only time was a few weeks after October 7 bumped into a protest in a park in central London and ran away fast!

I go to London fairly regularly and never had any problems. My BIL goes about 4 times a year and the same. I even walked around non Jewish areas in a headscarf at times.

I live here, and not had a day's problem BH.
My son sometimes gets a free palastine comment his way etc but BH non of us feel unsafe.
Funny but recently in the airport here my just turned 3 year old, who was wearing his capel said to me that lady took a picture of my toy. Now obviously she was taking it of him, and he's probably now on tik tok or something which I'm not happy about!
I didn't dare ask her about it, and make a scene but I kind of wish I'd have made her delete it because hey he's my child. Surely that should be illegal?! Maybe I'll Google Jewish boy lol

I would say it's generally safe. There is a rise in antisemitism here as in the rest of the world but I would say you're fine to visit.

Planning on mostly tourist areas in London mostly. Are there any no-go neighborhoods I should know about?

As long as you don't need to walk near the weekly Palestine protests on shabbos, (central London) you're totally good.

They probably have them where you live as well, you just don't know about them.

Yes on shabbos. That's why I had asked op if she was staying in the heimishe area as these protests are in central London. (Some tourists stay in central London in hotels or Airbnb)
The police have asked the organisers to change their route so that they don't pass by any synagogues.

Right, that would be very unpleasant. Makes sense to stay in the heimeshe community, and travel to central London. We've done touring in London, never stayed there overnight though.
