It’s a slim car seat. Diono radian. In theory it can go rear facing, but it’s big front to back if you do that.
We did graco infant seat, diono forward facing, graco slim fit rear facing- key was putting the diono in the middle and have the other 2 facing the other way

Definitely buy two dionos!
Clek us narrower than doona but if you want doona it will definitely work with two dionis for 3 across. Worthwhile investment even when you upgrade to bigger vehicle with diono you will have room fit large people or adults next to or in between car seats

Comfort of quality car seat v. Bare bones can't be compared. Children are definitely much happier in a more comfortable seat.
If spend q lot of time in car and have multiple children. Diono has 10 yr life span.its worth it to have comfy kids in car
