Anyone have a recommendation for a pareve (or milchig I guess) "chicken" broth or bouillon? It seems like it is on the market, but I can't find a kosher brand. I am in Brooklyn but would order internationally if something is highly recommended! Also recipes/tips for making it at home are welcome.

I’ve never seen a fleishig chicken consommé. Maybe beef cubes. Regular chicken consommé in the grocery is pareve.

Don't they all have pareve varieties? Telma and Osem brands are available by me, but I'm sure they're not the only ones.

I find that in recipes using vegetable broth works well
I use imagine and trader joes brand
I also think imagine might have a chicken flavored one that is pareve
Look up recipes for vegetable stock it can be used instead of chicken

Where do you live? All the kosher brands sold here include real chicken broth. Unless you mean bouillion cubes.

Imagine carries vegetarian no chicken stock.
What do you need it for? I can try to help you figure out how to cook without it.

This is genius, thank you.
And thank you everyone else! Now that you mention it, I have seen most of the products you mentioned in stores, and have used Telma myself. I guess I just assumed they were fleishig? Next time I'll look more closely

Recipes that call for it but also have dairy elements (orzos, soups, curries). Everyone in my house tends to prefer milchigs so I thought I would rather replace the meat elements with stock, tofu etc than use nondairy milks or similar. I have used the Imagine vegetable stock and didn't love it, but I will try their chicken stock!

I sauté onion and garlic for delicious flavor then use water for the liquid. Season well with salt, as you taste and adjust. It's simple and comes out delicious, like a flavorful broth, and we prefer it to boxed broth.
