Toilet trained toddler girl’s private part seems to be way sensitive. Never had this with my other kids. In the summer she had a lot of reactions to heat and chlorine ( that’s what my doctor determined based on seeing it ). Was so glad summer was done and she wasn’t complaining anymore. And now it looks like it’s all chapped from the cold! Did anyone have this? What can I do so she stops having so many reactions to everything.

Could it be a allergic reaction to a new detergent or maybe a sensitivity to the material of the underwear. Most kids do better with %100 cotton.

Nothing changed at all for a year. And it’s 100% cotton.

Hasn’t been wearing tights was just thinking to start tights because maybe the cold is irritating. She only wears cotton sweater tights. Seems to be wiping properly and well.

I'm assuming she takes baths. Can you try showering? Sitting in the dirty water irritates some people there.

She hates showers, hmm I wonder if it’s the bath. I’ve been doing them quick no playing just wash and get out. She played a little this week.

Could it be a food sensitivity like from citrus or tomato?

This would affect her v-gina? And she doesn't eat much of that, unless she's having in school which I wouldn't know about.

Strep would be more the perrinium and backside area. Would be shiny and bright red. When I eat certain foods, my urine gets very acidy, and kinda burns. Might be that.
Obvious question, but does she bed wet or sleep in pull-ups? My son gets irritated from that.
Try using a barrier cream for a few days in any case (Vaseline) just to heal the area.
