I'm looking for suggestions of a warm, accepting environment. not very academic, a little to the left, can handle a girl who's not "at risk" but doesn't fit the mold, and may need some extra attention.

Does this exist here?

How do they respond when a girl struggles with rules? Because I hear bnos bracha is very tough about that. (even if the rules aren't extreme)

Chedvas expects girls to follow the rules. She may need a school like Bnos Miriam.

I wouldn’t call it not academic. But it’s still worth a try - if your dd is otherwise a good fit they have some support for struggling students.

Chedvas is really for standard girls and not girls with issues. The rules you have to keep and obey.

That is true, for the most part the school has good academics, but they have small catapult classes for weaker students and the teachers are really committed to making each girl succeed.

If she already struggles with sticking to rules, Chedvas is not the place for her. Girls are expected to follow rules, just like any other BYHS.
