Please tell me about this camp!
My daughter really is hoping to get into Chaviva, but practically impossible.
What type is Ohr chedvah?
Thanks!

I went there a few years ago I’m not sure how much it has changed in the past few years it was frummer Flatbush type and not yehsivish Lakewood most girls went to bias Kayla for high school for reference but still very solid frum girls . The program wasn’t amazing lol but we liked to sit in the bunk house and not have to do much but now days kids are more high maintenance so I’m sure things have changed . But food was good and bunkhouses were clean and grounds were nice

My daughter goes and loves it. It’s a very warm, homey camp. The poster above sounds accurate. Definitely solid bais yaakov girls but not yeshivish. Flatbush, five towns, Passaic…not jappy but not out of towny kind of in between…the program the past few years has been great! Many older girls go to Chaviva and sviva second half (it’s only first half)

I know someone in bybp who goes now and loves it. She said it’s a mix of left wing yeshivish and JPF.

Just curious if this is the same camp that was known as camp chedva from years ago?

Girls coming out of 11th grade don't pay anything??? Other camps charge $1000 for that age! Girls coming out of 12th grade don't pay, but I never heard of a camp that doesn't charge 11th graders. Wow! That's great!
