My husband gets paid by the hour. We just got cut off food stamps and healthcare. There is no way we can afford any of those things by ourselves.
I’m afraid to ask him to cut back on work, but I think it’s the only way we can survive. He’s been working Sundays too so he may appreciate having a weekend back. It’s just not the way I was raised. I was raised to work work work nonstop and be happy for what you have. I can’t cut back my work because little kids in the classroom are depending on me.
Anyway it all feels crazy.
Just a vent.

We had the same and looking back it was the best thing. Once we weren’t bound to only earn a certain amount per year we were able to really increase our earnings. But it makes for a very tough two years…

If cutting Sundays will restore food stamps and healthcare, I'd cut it. Unless he can work more hours to pay for it

Maybe it’s for the better if he is at home on Sundays for the little kids at home
