The bugaboo full size strollers have the best push on the market.
There are other features that other strollers are better in.
It's not a inflated frum perception, all stroller groups I'm part of all say the same.
It's the Mercedes of strollers but only in the frum world does everyone need a "Mercedes".

In Europe, bugaboo's are so so common in the non jewish world.
And go take a walk in certain areas in Manhattan, you'll see plenty bugaboo's.

I hate following the herd but wanted to splurge on a gorgeous stroller for my long awaited baby. I got the cybex priam and couldn’t be happier. If you care about status 😉 it’s up there with the bugaboo, same price. I get so many compliments from bugaboo owners who just assume it’s a bugaboo because it’s so gorgeous ☺️ I had someone ask me where I got this color and I said from the cybex website. She was so confused because she assumed it was a bugaboo! It’s all a matter of taste, but personally I think it’s so much nicer than the fox. I actually found out about it from imamother! So grateful to all who recommended, as I was about to buy the fox.

I didn’t try any other strollers but I heard from people it’s the easier to push. The wheeels glide. Also ot lasts very long, I have it for 10 years and a few babies bh and it’s still amazing.

Firmly disagree. Bugaboo was big time in frum community and ny yuppies (most of which since switched to uppa baby) way before Kate had her first

I had a bugaboo bee with both bassinet and seat options. I hated every minute of it. The wheels get stuck on every bump on the sidewalk and it takes up to much room in the car.

Now I have a Citi mini baby jogger that glides over the sidewalk and has a much bigger basket. The seat goes back far enough that I don't mine putting a newborn in it.
And I have a tiny travel stroller for the car. I love this setup

The bee is parent facing which is a big plus and reclines all the way. Yes you felt the bumps but it glided over it.

What I loved most about mine was the way I can just swivel the carriage 180 degree with one hand to get into store doors. Bugaboo engineering and responsiveness is what keeps it popular for many years and different models.

I recommend getting the cybex gazelle. It’s great I have no complaints. So many configurations as a single as a double with bassinets without bassinets it’s amazing the bassinet is comfy the seats lay flat folds as a double whichever way the seats are positions I love it best purchase.

I feel like the fox is a knock off of the priam!!

Whatever I didn’t like about the cameleon and liked about the priam came out later with the fox 5.

The handle adjusts the same way the priam does (and one handed)

The seat reclines the same way the priam does (and one handed)

The fold is the same fold is the priam! And it’s one handed Wink

The only thing it’s still missing is the adjustable seat, I hate that the seat of the fox is one piece and you can’t adjust the legs

Edit: forgot one! The fox 5 brake isn’t on the handle bar anymore, it’s now by your foot… like the priam lol

The advent of Stokke and Joolz made Bugaboo realize that people want a stroller that’s higher up so babies don’t breathe in dust. Then they finally made the Fox.

I love the Cybex Priam. I bought the rose gold limited edition on sale for a great price and it's so pretty and luxurious! I'm using it now bh for my second child and it's in perfect condition kah.
About the customer service- since everything about it is top quality, I had no opportunity to test their customer service bh!

I specifically did not want the Bugaboo because I am so sick of seeing it everywhere I look and I tried it out and never loved it.

I wish I could invent my own stroller . Been through so many they all have pros and cons. My favorite combo would be bugaboo butterfly for car/travel, and uppababy cruz for full size shabbos stroller (I find the bugaboo even more bulky and not worth the added price) and city mini for a double and while we are on the subject doona for infant car seat and evenflow swivel for next carseat, and cosco for travel carseat

I was sick of seeing the bugaboo everywhere too but from my research it is one of the best so I got one too. Of course there are comparable ones like cybex, uppababy, joolz... But it's still a really good option if you go for the top end. Does everyone need a top end stroller? Probably not but if you're planning to have more than one kid it's worth it. If you're a busy mother who walks a lot doing errands or goes to the park, a good stroller makes life a lot easier.
Where I live bugaboo is also the most popular with non Jewish families and has been for years. It's really not just a frum trend.

Silver cross is not good at all, everyone I know who has one regrets it.

To push bugaboo is great, but otherwise there's several things I really dislike. The first being the fold. Can you explain why for a stroller that costs so much that the r&d department can't make an easy fold? It seems the more expensive a stroller the harder the fold. My sil's cheap graco is a simple one hand fold. My other sil's bugaboo fox is a complicated series of pull this and push that.

So I was always saying I'm not gonna buy into the craze of buggaboos- 1st stroller was an uppababy. Lasted for 1 kid for 3 years and the wheel peice kept breaking. So next I got a cybex, the fold was awful and would always stick was so so stressful to out in the trunk after each pick up from babysitter every day. I would literally daven and beg Hashem to just make the fold work. Sometimes I had to try over 10 times. Customer service did not do anything. Then, around 2 years later, the whole side wheel cracked along with the mechanism. I made do with wtvr random strollers people gave away (means I tried a bunch of types). The best I got was a city mini.
So now got a bugaboo and loving it like crazy so so worth it

Op- all I can say is - go into a store and wheel every strollers that has a bassinet option and make a decision for yourself!!

I lived in lkwd till 18 months ago. Never walked anywhere. Thought the bugaboo users were cult followers. I moved to a walkable city where we go to shul a mile away weekly. I needed a very strong double for my 1&3 year old who are both very big kids. Got the donkey on sale from a floor model, super marked down. I can finally say I get the hype - I use it as a single now and it’s the best purchase I ever made

Yes uppa baby is a work horse.
Silver cross is by far stronger

Still using and enjoying my bugaboo frog for close to 18 years.

The dragonfly can even fold with the bassinet attached!! The cybex I had to take the bassinet off

That's what I'm saying this isn't a frum shtick, it really is the top in luxury strollers. What is a frum shtick is that the top is standard/a need for everyone.

I have a cybex gazelle and from comparing with my friend with the Fox:

push is the same
basket is similar
with the bugaboo you need to switch the adapters to click the bassinet/seat in. With the cybex, it can be done without switching anything. It can be done with one hand.
bassinet size is comparable

I got my cybex 40% off (I think 400 dollars for a stroller that is a single to double)
And she paid 1200.

I wouldn't spend that much even if someone else was buying it for me (which was the case) but I know it was really important to her.
