I feel like all I see and hear about is everyone obsessed with the bugaboo strollers.
Are they really the best? I heard uppababy is a" workhorse" cybex "glides", mima is fashionable and recently updated, , .silver cross is a "classic" Evenflo works just as well strollers get banged around anyway why spend money, etc...
Im b"h looking for my first stroller now and heeeeelllp me.
I definitely want a full size overnight bassinet sleep approved stroller.

Short answer? No. Its a certain type obsession, and it's a status symbol nothing else.

My sil has one and after using it a few times I think it's the worst I've used. Don't understand why people buy them, and for so much. I like uppababy.

After using my bugaboo cameleon for many babies and years I replaced it with a cybex priam and couldn’t be happier!

Then bugaboo is one of the best. It‘s one of the best pushing strollers on the market, great quality, longevity. You can still get something else- the wheels will still roll - but bugaboo is a luxury

I actually do think its one of the best strollers. You don't need to get the latest model for $$$$ but I prefer my 50% off bugaboo cameleon (when Fox 3 was already available) to an Uppababy.
The Uppababy Vista is considered the comparable stroller, and it is just or almost as expensive, and is wider and bulkier.
I'm not familiar with the Cybex Priam so can't compare.

I wanted to be different I got a silver cross. I didn’t know how bad it was until I replaced it with a bugaboo. I replaced it because the silver cross seat was small. I remember the feeling the first walk how I felt the bugaboo was gliding and pushing me vs silver cross I had to maneuver this bulky thing while feeling all the bumps.

No it's one of those frum "herd affect " situations.

It's not strong parts break flimsy hood and basket Can't Carry heavy loads ...
Yes uppa baby is a work horse.
Silver cross is by far stronger

I feel like the fox is a knock off of the priam!!

Whatever I didn’t like about the cameleon and liked about the priam came out later with the fox 5.

The handle adjusts the same way the priam does (and one handed)

The seat reclines the same way the priam does (and one handed)

The fold is the same fold is the priam! And it’s one handed Wink

The only thing it’s still missing is the adjustable seat, I hate that the seat of the fox is one piece and you can’t adjust the legs

Edit: forgot one! The fox 5 brake isn’t on the handle bar anymore, it’s now by your foot… like the priam lol

It actually started with Kate, she broke the royal family tradition of silvercross. Soon enough everyone followed.

I had a bugaboo bee with both bassinet and seat options. I hated every minute of it. The wheels get stuck on every bump on the sidewalk and it takes up to much room in the car.

Now I have a Citi mini baby jogger that glides over the sidewalk and has a much bigger basket. The seat goes back far enough that I don't mine putting a newborn in it.
And I have a tiny travel stroller for the car. I love this setup

The bugaboo full size strollers have the best push on the market.
There are other features that other strollers are better in.
It's not a inflated frum perception, all stroller groups I'm part of all say the same.
It's the Mercedes of strollers but only in the frum world does everyone need a "Mercedes".

No stroller beats the push of a bugaboo. And they stand behind their products.

Bugaboo is annoying, have to take apart to fold, can’t turn into a double. My sil is regretting not getting an uppa baby.

I’ve had my vista for 7 years! Still works amazing
