Is it less common to be fully remote now than it was a year ago?
Or did COVID make this much more common?

Many more employers have now recalled their employees to the office, some fully and some a few days a week. Other employers concluded that with fewer employees they could rent less office space and save money, and decided to continue with mostly remote work. A lot depends on the type of work. It's hard to provide PT or inspection of any sort when you're not physically there.

A lot of companies are transitioning to in office.
Since covid my office had everyone return 3 days per week. Tues-thurs who live within 50 miles.
I’ve been working for them remote for 20 years and live 48 miles away. They are threatening my job if I don’t return. I’m waiting to see how it plays out.
But this seems to be the general direction all companies are going.

I work remotely. All of the team I work with is remote. The company has both in office and remote employees..
It’s a tech company with 10k plus employees…
