Road trip itineraries

Starting to think ahead a bit towards the spring/ summer to see if it’s feasible..

We’d love to do a road trip as a family. Not necessarily with an rv- just a big vehicle and make frequent stops.

I’m in Lakewood but we are willing to fly out of state..

A week on the road would be ideal.

Did anyone do such a trip and can give me basic itineraries ?

Ami magazine had a few itineraries in one of their recent magazines if u can get a copy. Cant remember which issue.

Also, mishpacha magazine has had articles like this and they might have some archived on their website.

We haven't done road trips over a week (only Sun-Thurs), but we've gone Lakewood to Rhode Island. We went to IT along the way which was right off the 95. Traffic was pretty intense both ways, so driving took longer than we initially thought. Afterwards, we did stuff in Newport RI for a couple of days. On the way back you could do mystic seaport (ive never been) or stop in Stamford CT - I believe there's kosher food there.
