Infants babies toddlers young children are *growing* so they need all these calories to grow up healthy. How else are they supposed to grow if not via nutrition?

I don’t have many nieces and nephews. And I never saw their eating habits. I was simply asking if this is normal or if this is a kid craving food. And that’s after being nursed and supplemented with a bottle. I’m totally okay giving her solids and sharing my plate. It’s fun. I just wanted to know if this is normal at this age. Apparently it is. I’m happy! |
Sorry, don’t buy it. You clearly have food/ body image issues. Who calls a baby a food addict and then worries that baby will turn into an overweight without boundaries.

I don't think it's anything to do with food.
If you sit at the table with a bunch of blocks or items in front of you I'm pretty sure your baby will try grab it also and put it to the mouth.
It's regular learning/curiosity stage for this age.

Up until 12/15/18 months or so, obviously depends on the kid, babies are open to try lots of new things. Then they hit a stage of getting a little picky till 4/5.
So this is your time to introduce flavours, spices(not salt) different textures, things touching, tons of variety and your baby is usually happy to attempt a try

Im a little afraid she’s gonna be one of these overweight kids without boundaries when it comes to food. Is this normal? Does it calm down? When can I expect to see change? I’m not sure. She’s my first one |
The bolded are what is off putting about your post in addition to you calling your baby an addict.
BH you have a growing baby!
