They’re literally disposable by now. I don’t know if it’s his hair or shape head but they fall off and I keep losing them. I’ve tried clips and pins and it doesn’t stay in either. Anyone have any advice? It’s getting so expensive to keep replacing.

Have you tried these special kippah clips they make that stick on the inside of the yarmulke? As a morah it's the only thing I find that works for kids who can't keep it on.

Yes, it falls right out of his hair.

Does he have very sleek straight hair? As a toddler, did the rubber bands always got lost?
Have you tried the small clips which are attached to sheitel's sides? Sow them on.
Alternatively use a piece of strong double sided scotch tape (Tamir Goodman used to do this a per media)

This.
The huge Gur ones that go basically ear to ear stay well.
Also check if 4 or 6 sections fits his head shape better. Take him to a well stocked store and try every style.

Is his hair long? I find shorter hair keeps yarmulkas on nicely. They fall off of mushrooms and even just longer hair especially if the hair is silky.

The ones called "kippah it on"
Put 2 or 3 if u need to. I haven't found a child it doesn't work for yet (unless his hair is extremely short and it doesn't have a grip).

Sometimes the shape of the head could make a difference. Try experiment with a four parts or a six part yarlmuka

Isn’t that just the velvet ones? We’re not chassidish… he’s not wearing chassidish style yarmulkas
