My oven just broke down and the repair guy can only come tomorrow.

It’s too late to set up a crockpot dinner.

I need stovetop supper ideas.

Not salmon, though.

Could be milchig or fleishig. If milchig, something light, not heavy and cheesy

Scrambled egg bar. Make a bunch of eggs, put out wraps and pita or bagels or whatever. Lots of toppings.

You can also do tacos (milchig or fleshigs)

You can also do poke bowls using frozen (defrosted) kani, canned salmon and tuna.

Boil Sausages, fried shnitzel, or use a george foreman.

Carbs could be pasra, couscous, orzo etc.

I like to use my stovetop when its too hot in the summer lol.

Chicken risotto.

That was the name my mother gave to left over chicken from the soup cooked up with rice. She would sauté onions, peppers and maybe tomato, with whatever other vegetables were around, then add the chicken, and after a few minutes add the rice. Then pour water over it and cook. It was a staple in our house most weeks, and we all loved it.

I was going to make oven baked pesto schnitzel. I didn’t buy the chicken yet. I dont want to make the fried version because fried food gives me nasty heartburn

Meat sauce with spaghetti is a filling quick supper.

Sautee 1 or 2 onions. Crumble 2lbs mince meat over onion and stir with fork until brown. Squeeze 4 tbsps tomato puree in and add 1.5 cups hot water and simmer (or marinara sauce).
Optional: add tinned/fresh mushrooms, corn and/or peppers.

Boil spaghetti. Pour meat sauce over and eat!

If you have a grill pan you could make grilled chicken. Won't give you heartburn like fried.
