I have used mam pacifiers for all of my babies and have been happy overall. I have a 20 month old who still uses that brand at night, I usually stop that altogether by age 2.

I also have a 2 month old, so I decided to use a different brand purposely so that my toddler won’t take the baby’s pacifier. I have been using nuk for my newborn and he likes it, issue is I really don’t like how it has to be the right way. When it’s the middle of the night it’s definitely harder to get in correctly! And as my newborn grows it will be harder for him to put in on his own

So basically do you have any other pacifiers to recommend that aren’t too similar to mam and also don’t need to be positioned perfectly to work? I know bib pacifiers have been in but I heard they are terrible for baby’s teeth so I’d rather not go there.

Another vote for phillips avent, but not the soothie I hate those theres no way to clip it I like the regular and all my babies approve

Why not? There is a hole to thread the pacifier clip through. I never had an issue

I switched to ninni because it's supposed to be best for palate suction. It's just pricy. I used to use the classic soothie

the only bibs that isn't good for them is the original with the round nipple
the bibs supreme is the mams nipple, exact same pacifier just looks a bit different.

Both ways work and you can punch a hole in the center with hole puncher for clip.

Stays really well in baby’s mouth. I know many fussy babies who didn’t want any other pacifiers and this is the only one that worked.

My newborn niece just switched to this. she did take the avent soothie but her mother had to push it back in constantly.

Wasn't necessary. The heart shaped one has a hole that doesn't touch the face

Cheap and recommended by OTs! They are round nipples so don't have to be inserted any particular way. Can be diagonal, upside down, etc...

Thank you all! If the ones I ordered are not comfortable for my baby I will try one of the other recommendations!

I always liked the nuk ones (the classic nuk ones, not the copy cat of the mam ones) because I thought it was easier for the baby to keep it in its mouth.
I never felt like it was hard for them to put it in either. They realized early on to turn it around if it was upside down.

Mine uses the wubunub. I like that it has the animal attached to it. Easier to find and to keep in her mouth since the animal gives it some weight so if it falls out it still stays on her chest and doesn’t roll onto the floor.

I use the NUK. It’s similar shaped to the breast.
