I was talking with someone about our lives and whats hard and whats not fair etc. She said that life changed for her when she had to the willingness to give everything up to hashem. I asked her how she did that. She had a hard time explaining it to me and I really want to try to be able to do that. Ive had a few too many thing in my life that I am angry at hashem for and hardships that make my life anything but easy, but I dont know how to give it all up to hashem and say I know you are in charge and I put it all in your hands. I have some sort of blockage as to how to do that.
Anyone here do that and able to explain it to me?

Wow! I was discussing this with my friend this evening.
I have been davening for years for the ability to take whatever Hashem gives, even if it is bad.
But I see no change- I'm still sad and bad things just keep coming.
I'm done.
I need a crumb.
I'm not davening anymore.
I give up.

Ouch
And perhaps in this situation, Hashem wants you to work on change instead of acceptance. Or processing your feelings. Or dealing with grief. Or something else.

I found constantly repeating Hashem this is in your hands now, I did what I could... to be helpful. But I'm still a work in progress. It helps me sometimes

Learning sefarim/ books and listening to shiurim.

Eventually it just becomes second nature.
