I have the prescription from the doctor but my pharmacy wants over 1K since it's not covered by insurance. I remember seeing advertisements in the frum magazines. Does anyone have the info?

Safer pharmacy in queens sells the compounded version.
So does a pharmacy in Westchester who but I don’t know their contact info or #.

Are you eligible for the savings card? And are you doing vials or pens? You can get via Lilly Direct and if I remember correctly, vials are cheaper.

What’s the savings card? Where can I get it?
I would get the vials since that’s cheaper.

As you notice if you get a prescription for 10mg you can use 5 mg at a time and use it for 2 months and it gets greatly discounted…

No they are not
Please don’t take drugs that are not FDA approved, there are so many issues happening and people having horrible effects from it. Studies are showing the semaglutide amounts in these drugs are not listed accurately, some are way more and causing overdoses. It is very dangerous

I asked the PA at my doctors office and she said not FDA approved so I said ok. You don't have to convince me anymore. I'm not doing it. I wish my insurance would cover it

Smart. Someone couldn’t pay me to take it, honestly
I find it so scary and sad that people are just injecting themselves with drugs that could be anything. They are usually illegal and could have serious side effects
I personally know women who do this, but also are vehemently against the Covid vaccine, which I find very ironic

What frustrates me is the high cost for these drugs in the USA. Why is it so much more here? Novo nordisk should get fined and forced to have the same prices across the world

Selling compounded drugs is legal if the drug is considered scarce supply.
You need to go to a trusted pharmacy, and not something online etc.
Ask your doctor to recommend one.
