I feel stupid that I cannot figure it out.
We are preparing to move abroad next summer.
I am trying to declutter my house.
I have a hard time understanding what to do with shoes. I have several pairs of gently worn shoes from my older son. I have two more sons. I have been keeping the shoes because they look the same as what I would have bought now.
I have a difficult time selling them, it is just hopeless in my city.
Give them away? I know that after the move our COL will be higher. I don’t know if I will be able to buy same quality shoes…
But is it smart to take them along?
Has anyone moved with hand me down shoes and it made sense?

I don’t hand down shoes unless they’re barely worn (like snow boots) because the foot bed shapes to the kids feet so it will never be as comfortable for the next child

I am reading so much conflicting information about it.
They are also mostly shabbos shoes so they weren’t heavily worn

I would take them along. My 4 yr old daughter is wearing hand me down Shabbos shoes (in perfect condition) from 2 moves ago (in 3 yrs).
