You need a pllc. You need to have money and motivation to go big and hire more bcbas. Most of the time You make more just working as bcba for an agency than doing it on your own.

Is this about a business or a passion?
Are you a BCBA and you really believe in it and want to help as many as you can and also earn a Parnass, or are you business oriented and feel it is a good industry which you could do and it would be profitable?

Both. I’m a bcba and passionate about it as well as want to have my own business but I’m new to the business end of this and don’t know what to do

Why do you need to know that and what difference does it make? The steps to starting an agency (which I do not know) will be the same whichever way she answers

I read some of this thread and literally don’t know what this has to do with my question. People have their opinions and that’s fine and I’m a bcba and would like to start my own agency and I am not looking to service the frum yeshiva world and take advantage I genuinely want to open up a successful agency. Whether people like aba or not has nothing to do with my question of what are the necessary steps that need to be taken to start

I am deep in the process of starting an agency...I can tell you the steps that need to be taken to get one off the ground, but would not post publicly . Do you have an email that you would share?
