I was married a year, he had a rough chiledhood, we went out to eat at a nice steakhouse and I had the waiters sing happy birthday, I know most people don't really like it, but he's never had that before and it meant alot to him. I also bought him a designer belt, he had one that was stolen( long story) , and I knew he really wanted another one. Also, he said being married at 30 was the best "present for him" ( for me too)
Guess I'm boring lol

I bought him 30 gifts and wrapped each one separately, piled them all into a basket. Most of them were small gifts, like a set of shot glasses, each wrapped separately. Then there were 2 bigger gifts, one was a designer tie and I don't even remember the other one. The gifts were all numbered, saving the best for last, and he opened them in order of the numbers. It was really cute and dh loved it.

Bough him from oriental trading a party set "oh no the big 3 0" with balloons. Set up my bedroom with small round table and candles and had dinner there in locked room. Was quite fun.

By one of Dh's "big" birthdays, I sent the kids away for the night. Made a staycation, we cooked and painted together.

My cousin is a graphic artist. She made me up a page with 2 coupons on it, I printed them double sided and took it in to be bound and presented DH with 30 coupons of experiences will do together. Some cute, some fun, some things he likes to do that I hate (go grocery shopping tog - my worst thing ever lol), intimacy etc ..

Tj maxx and Marshall’s are great places to start, that’s where I go before Chanukah for 8 gifts. Belts, socks, wallets, ties …
