I'm so tempted to try. My mom even offered to iron it for me because she has a good steam iron.
Hmmm. No washing and no ironing. I'm tempted to get off ima to try this.
The machine doesn't make the wool thick? you tie up the strings?
The irony, your screen name is ivory. All puns intended.

I wash in a similar way to what ivory wrote.
Although I do add biz powder detergent because the iron out only whitens;it doesn’t actually clean.
And I throw it in the machine just for rinse and spin cycle.
I need tips on how to iron them well??
I have a steam iron and it takes me forever to iron if I want it to look really crispy and neat. Any shortcuts?

Never had an issue. Yes I tie the strings up, either in a sock, or the special things they sell for it. Forgot the name.
lol, they do make it ivory.. or white lol…
If you do try it, let me know how it worked out.

Iron it wet, alternatively, iron it dry. Depends which brand.

So the secret is to steam iron it twice. Once when wet straight out of machine and again after it dries.
I sometimes skip when it’s wet, and only iron when dry, works great too. Make sure you stretch it well while ironing, to take creases out.
But that’s the long version, short version is just iron it once when dry. But try to open creases when wet when you hang it.

Can we get real here a minute? Nothing really works with wool tzitzis that is worn over shirt without a sweater or vest and basically a bib. Food stains especially male food stains are tough lol
tried everything, the stains just turn weird colors .. Yellow out makes it reek and does fade the black anyway if you forget about it for extra few minutes...
