My 13 year old daughter is incredibly insecure and she acts out terribly from it. She is snarky to everyone, her younger siblings, me and DH and is so unpleasant to be around. All day I hear about what we're doing wrong, how weird we are, how dysfunctional we are etc.
I'm not sure how to help her or how to handle this constant negativity and pushing people's buttons. It's incredibly draining and she's not happy for it either.
Any tips or advice?
She refuses to go to therapy.

Lots and lots of unconditional love and acceptance. What lead to this behavior? Was she always like this or is this a new phase?

She's always been like this, it just gets worse and worse as she gets older, cares more and more about norms being cool etc.
I think she gets lots of attention and love. I'm not sure what else to do.

So what makes you say that she's insecure?
