Do Jewish stores typically take long to ship out?

Placed an order at a Jewish store a week ago and it has yet to ship. I’m not expecting Amazon ship-and-deliver-in-one-day type service, but a week seems excessive, no? At what point do I contact the store?

I order a lot from jewish stores and it's usually 2-3 days to ship. Unless there is a disclaimer on the site that due to a high volume of orders it's taking longer. I'd contact them at this point to ask for the status.

I usually find Jewish small businesses to be very quick, actually. Surprisingly so.

Tottini I usually have my order by the next day! If I placed it late in the day, then tops a day and a half later!

I order alot from several different jewish stores, and the order often arrives within 2 days.
While the orders from gap, h&m, children's place..... take over a week to ship.

I don’t know standard shipping practice for wherever you’re posting about, but usually websites will say what their time frame is. Last week orders though may take little longer to process if they were inundated with orders over yomtov.

A bigger Jewish website with daily orders will usually ship same or next day. I find the small shops that only get a few orders a week take longer to ship since they aren’t set up properly and may not have someone working full time on shipping out orders. I would definitely email them if it’s been a week already. I have, only to be told that they have been looking for my items for a week but couldn’t find them 🙄

In my experience, most are very quick. Ship within a few days. One was horrible. Shipped after a few weeks, didn't even include all the items, never even refunded me for the missing item. I had to file a claim online. But when I'm posted, everyone said it's normal to take weeks to ship out. 🤷‍♀️

A shout-out to Artscroll! I tried to order from their site today and it automatically redirected me to their UK division (I'm in the UK) to save me on shipping! Very impressive 👏

It depends where ur ordering from. I’ve found some places to ship right away and some to take really long. Check the website to see their shipping time frames. I’ve also had that my order sat because they didn’t end up having the item. So can’t hurt to email them just for an update
