How do you keep your husband's woolen tzitzis white?
I can't seem to get it 😢
Please share your laundry secrets.
Thanks!

Soak in iron out with warm water for 25 minutes.
Put the entire bucket, with the soaked water and tzitzis in the machine on a hand wash/wool cycle cold.no added detergent.
Works wonders!
My husband gets compliments all the time!
Note, make sure the iron out is fully dissolved before putting in the tzitzis, because if not it can fade the black!
Good Luck

Super important the iron out should be dissolved fully in the water.

my children were commenting on chol hamoed about how white and clean the tzitzis of all the men who were wearing them over their shirts are. they were very impressed!
there has to be a method.
they look pristine and beautiful!
wool naturally yellows after washing.

I know a guy like that. He never washes his tzitzis. Just gets a new one.

I personally do not like new tzitzis. The way I wash them is way whiter.. someone that her husband kept replacing said they like my husbands better, way nicer.

Not the bucket. All the water from the bucket that it soaked in, I pour the whole thing into front loader.
Sorry it wasn’t clear.

I’m glad it works for you, I didn’t have a good experience with the cleaners, maybe I did it too often? Not sure, but I wash them myself every few weeks and it’s really white
