Hi-my five granddaughters from three families are coming for Shabbos. They range from age 7-13. Any ideas on how to make this a really fun experience for us all? I want to make a “mini shabbaton “ atmosphere. Any suggested are very much appreciated!

So fun! Knowing your demographic would be helpful since not everything is appropriate for everyone. But off the top of my head:
Themed meals with tablescapes and fun plating
Activities for Friday like painting and crafts
Motsei shabbos outing to arcades
Special photoshoot and use the pics for souvenirs
Etc.

Make it fun but don’t go overboard or you’ll suffer burnout and resentment
Buy a new board game
Tent a Jewish video (drama or concert) and make popcorn
Buy pizza and ice cream for melava malka
Extra nosh for shabbos
And bake one special something g that becomes your signature cake etc
If you work too hard, you’ll think seven times before inviting them again.
Keep it light and make it happy
They will entertain themselves

You can get them swag like a blanket, brush, slippers, maybe matching pj's, throw pillow...

I just ordered sweatshirts for my DD bdays for her and friends. It was so simple. Guessed sizes on Amazon - went bigger if I wasn’t sure.
And a neighbor put their names on with the Cricut

A year ago we had all my siblings and most of the single grandchildren under one roof for my father's 80th b-day. Yes it was more than 5 girls, but we had an absolute blast.
We didn't do much special. Just amazing bonding time. My mother made sure there were plenty of snacks and fruit. We played a family game of apples to apples (Jewish jr version) and the little ones played too. We were all rolling with the responses. The kids played hiding go seek (in our family it's preschool thru teens that play).
If you have a couple games that all 6 of you can play together--they'll enjoy the real bonding time.

personally I wouldn't overdo but obv make it special. the nachas for everyone is being together , not the swag imho! ideas like polish their nails before lighting singing kabalas Shabbos, a small treat on their pillow with a personal note.themed dinner is cute, after dinner blankets and beanbags on floor for a game. charades is always fun for all ages. snacks of course
shabbos day a walk together....
motsei Def can go for ice-cream or homemade pizzas they can make minisz or cookie baking.
or movie and popcorn

I can’t think of anything more fun than being together with the girl cousins at your grandparents house. If you make your own special dishes and have nice things to eat, that would be the best. If there’s time, you could bake with them. I would sit with them and show family photos or of travel that you have done. They would probably enjoy hearing stories of your childhood, parents, and grandparents. Show them your wedding album and those of their aunts and uncles. They will likely love that. I know we did. Probably a good idea to have snacks, a few board games, and maybe some magazines on hand. You could do an afternoon ice cream party (probably pareve.) If the weather is nice and depending on their ages, go for a walk to a Shabbos park. Other than that, your company will be the best. Have fun!!!

Wow! Thanks so much for all the great ideas! I’m new on this website so I figure I would post on “newbies”. The site wouldn’t allow me to post anywhere else for some reason. I’m really excited and will incorporate some of your wonderful suggestions.

When I think shabbaton, what comes to mind is-erev shabbos toameha with potato kugel, Friday night kumsitz/lecha dodi while men are out. Nice shabbos afternoon with nosh, cookies, special drink and games. Melave malka activity and yummy hot food.

You could order some little teddy bears from Amazon and a make a little baggie with heart wrapped chocolate to accompany it. Oh nuts has a nice selection. Tie it with a pretty pink ribbon, also available on Amazon or little pink gift bags. You could attach a tag that says “Good Shabbos with love from (Grandma/Bubbie)”

I was also thinking teddy bears, maybe the teddy bear can have a t-shirt that says "bubbie loves me"

Make them their favorite foods, nothing like feeling special that your grandmother considered them individually. That doesnt mean you have to cook all week, just one thing that you know they like and say you made it special for them.
If they (chas ve shalom) fight, have a plan in place, dont take sides, never take sides, and most importantly, avoid any hint of taking sides.
Get them out and walking - to a park or wherever. Kids need this.
My grandkids love nice stories about their parents when they were their age. And stories from when they were babies, and we love looking at pictures from family trips together.
Have games that you can all play together. I think time spend with your grandchildren will be remembered far longer than swag. Although the soft blankets are a great idea if you can afford it. Nothing more than this:
