First of all, why are you doing homework late on Sunday?
Here we do weekend kriyah on shabbos, any other homework early in the day Sunday.

Can you make dinner earlier?

We do early showers on Sunday night, and then a special activity once everyone is in PJs (a game, not messy project etc)

Full day or half day? Have them do it as soon as they get home. And make dinner while they’re out.
