Looks like a brand new camp advertised in the BP graphics. I'm intrigued since I'd love a fresh new camp bais yaakov style and the name of the owner sounds familiar.

My daughter ideally would have wanted to go to Camp Bnos Naaleh but seems it is impossible to get into. She is an amazing bais yaakov girl Lakewood and never went to camp. This would be her first time and she is okay going to something new.

If anyone has any info please advise.

Camp Tal is a new camp being opened by Mrs. Chaya Faigy Bar. She opened a camp last year for the Camp Malka girls who had nowhere to
go.

From what I heard it will be a Bais yaakov type of camp. I heard a lot of previous malka girls are going. Maybe call them for information.

What “type” was Camp Malka?

I noticed the assistant principal of Chein BY is one of the heads. Is it looking for that kind of crowd? Because they are saying at all. “Wholesome BY girl is vague” . They said something like “in-town sophistication with out of town warmth.” So is this like a less “Lakewood”y Bnos Naaleh?

If that's the type- I'm in! Please advise me!!! My daughter is clueless and doesn't care about going with friends - she just wants to go.

If you were going for Bnos Naaleh then this is a good idea. I work in a mainstream BY camp so we coordinate with the other ones (trips, inter-camp games, etc) and this is becoming one of them.

If my husband wear peyos down, would my daughter feel comfortable. We don't otherwise look chassidish, we're not fancy, this is just one thing he kept from his father. We're not "bummy" or "cool", we just come from chassidish background. Daughter is in bybp.

My daughter in a Lakewood HS said that she heard they are getting TONS of applicants - mainly from the mainstream BY Lakewood schools, and also out of town, BYBP.
I would tell you to call them and find out if it’s a good fit for you..

I heard she is the English principal of the new high school called "Chemdas BY" high-school. Girls from the school that closed down (Mayan) sent their girls here...
