That no one else will be wearing?
I’m very simple so I’m worried that something I might wear for my son’s bar mitzvah is what another person would wear when attending a simcha.
I have plenty of time so I want to do this right. I’m also a very hard size to fit since I’m short and not thin
I like a simple but classy look.
Nothing super elegant.
I live in Lakewood but can drive within an hour or two.
Or I can shop online with free returns.
Where would you recommend I look?
When should I begin looking for a pesach time event? I do not like to wear light colors so I will probably wear something dark but lightweight.

The only way to get something no one else will be wearing is custom…
Another option is to get a nice fitting dress as a base and dress it up.

I’m having trouble assessing how you evaluate classy but not super elegant. I totally understand wanting something unlike others. I really like dress and long jacket combinations. Look on Kaspar.com, Zappos , or even Talbots. Terri Jon also has some nice but expensive options. Personally, I would avoid the frum stores so you’re not wearing what everyone else does. Make an appointment with a personal shopper and go to Nordstrom or Bloomingdale’s. They can help you find clothes for your body type and also have alterations. Mazal tov and good luck.

Try surelle they are very helpful
Try exquisite on locust more fancy and expensive but you’ll look amazing at your sons bar Mitzva

I just googled. I never heard of them. Is this a new place? What is the approximate price range? Do they have things for older women too?
