Not for anything too serious BH. It’s to monitor a clotting issue.

Thank you
I called and he is currently only taking new patients that are oncology patients. New hematology patients would have to see someone else in the practice. Do you know anyone else in the practice?

I've been using Dr. Sumit Talwar from RWJBH. He has an office on Chestnut Rd near New Hampshire.
Been using him for a few years am very happy!
He is not American, and his accent can be a little hard to understand sometimes (at least for me), but he is really kind and patient, and very clear and thorough with his explanations and making sure you understand everything.

Adding to this, that I use him to monitor my platelets during pregnancies.

Dr Wasserman and his partner Dr Nahum are both great! Dr Silberberg and Dr Balar at RCCA in Freehold are also excellent.

I’m finding her office impossible to deal with. Did you have good experience? I can never get thru, they don’t call back, weeks to make appointments…

I also used Dr Cohen's office for low platelets in pregnancy I did not see him but another dr in the practice. It was great
I don't know where your numbers are at but if they are in the 80-90 range they can scare you but it should not effect you in any way bezh. Main reason is to be able to get an epidural which most hospitals wont give unless your platelets are over 100. I took steroids in my 9th month and bh all went well.
Unless your numbers are much much lower...
