Wwyd?Left expensive sweater in washer 24 hour shrunk

I wet and and trying to stretch it. What is the best idea? Should I take it to dry cleaners. I called them they told me to bring it when it’s dry and they will try to stretch it.

Soak it in cool water to which you added either fabric softener or hair conditioner, then squeeze out the water, lay the item out on a towel and gently stretch it to shape. If you can pin or clip it to a firm surface like an ironing board, so much the better.

Thanks I did teach it without the pins. I also called a dry cleaner and he said they do stretch sweaters. If it won’t worked out I will bring it to the cleaners.
