I feel like my daughter age 7 bullies her younger sister age 4. I’m hesitant to use that word but because of their size and age difference I really feel that sometimes it’s considered bullying. She is a king hearted, slightly anxious child with not such healthy self esteem and I don’t know how to deal with it when it (often) happens. My younger daughter is bh very easy going and seems to deal with it in a chilled way and of course we don’t stand for it etc but I worry that chas vShalom she’s instilling fear in her deep down. I do try to make a big deal praising her when they are playing nicely together and of course building her up and giving her confidence is very important. Any other advice?
On a side note, she sometimes seems very insistent on “getting back at someone”. Almost like she needs to revenge even if it’s her baby sister who’s one who did something to bother her! I can’t figure out where it’s coming from this need to get back at them. If it makes a difference I have a slight suspicion of ADD but I’m not sure…
Thank you so much.
