My 6-year-old son is currently in a very small cheder. He is a shy child and what I love is that he gets very individualized attention. His class only has 10 kids ( around five left this winter for various different reasons ) and because this is a new place (5 years) they don't have a lot of funding and they're struggling with different things. I feel like it is not the best place for my son. I am looking for a small place where he can shine and grow but something that already has strong roots and technical issues would not be dealt with on a daily
I do really love the style of imrei shefer. I think what they put into the boys is amazing. I just don't think I would fit in with the parent body. I would say we are more chassidish than the current parent body.
I heard amazing things about Imrei shefer. Maybe look into it anyway, it might be worth it for you even if the parent body is less chassidish. They put in amazing values and yiras shamayim into the boys
Won't be easy to get in anywhere at this point when most classes that age are full and your son is in a cheder. Imrei shefer you can probably get into.
