Dh wants to start the injections. Only issue is it’s not covered by insurance. It’s over $400 a month. Can someone please tell me if there’s a way to get to cheaper??
He tried getting approval from insurance but it’s not allowing. We live in California for reference.

You could try and get it from another country.
In the UK its about £150 a month. Many online pharmacies sell it, depending on the website you just need to fill out a questionaire, and pretend you have a GP in the UK. (they don't check)
You would have to use a service that lets you ship stuff to a uk address and send it to you in the US.
Since the pens are ok out of the fridge up to 30 days you should be fine even if it takes a week or two to ship.

Doing it through the UK sounds awfully complicated. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

If you’re looking for compounded ones they start at $250 for 5 units a monthly pack I believe.
Try safer pharmacy in queens they deliver, or there’s a pharmacy in Westchester not sure the name.
