I washed my down pillow and now it smells like a bird

It's probably not dry enough. Stick it back in the dryer for another cycle or two (on low heat).

It’s probably not dry enough.
Recently washed pillows, it took many cycles in the dryer, and sitting out in the sun for 2 days until it felt completely dry from the inside.
I’m not doing that again so fast lol

1. I dry them a few times (on setting where you can choose your own time, not ones that go according rlto dryer sensors)
Probably takes 3-4 hours to dry
2. Use tennis balls to redistribute feathers nicely

I wash it every year for Pesach- it's nice and fresh

Tennis balls!! And keep drying it. Timed dry on low, not sensor. Even when it feels dry do it again...
