What happens with medicaid-type health insurance in MD? We are moving from Monsey and I am wondering if anyone has done this and had success in transferring health insurance? Do many practitioners accept such insurance?

medical assistance in MD needs to be applied for via Marylandhealthconnection.gov.

most jewish people choose Amerigroup as their MCO, as a lot of doctors used by the community take it.

You can do it yourself via the Marylandhealthcoverage.org

Or someone I know helps people with this type of stuff, I think she charges around $50-100 depending on family size and type of insurance your looking for
