I’ll agree with many posts above…. We all bribe once in a while…. How many of us bribed this yk more than they usually do….. it’s totally fine if it doesn’t become a habit.
Make sure he can obey without reward too. About cleaning up…. Does “You can’t take out another toy until this this toy is put away” work?
And I just paid my almost 6 year old 20 shekel to help with the 1.5 year old today . They've been begging for paper money for ages and I wanted to make sure they wouldn't drive dh crazy while he was trying to work.
One pregnancy when I could not handle any kind of smells I paid DD a dollar to change a dirty diaper (she was thrilled). As with all above comments, don't make it a regular thing but on occasion it's a very useful tool!
