My kids know to check. My 7 yo even questioned my toddlers shoes that he was wearing as regular and I reassured her I checked and his ($15 cat and jack target) shoes were not leather. |
So funny. I was once at the mikvah before tisha bav and a preschool morah came in to get paper slippers for her class to color as a project and she was making a big scene that the mikvah lady wouldn't give or sell them to her, apparently they were a special order item and take a lot of time to get in.
