Yes they're heavy. They're neat and assembly is neat, but hard to assemble solo.

The higher quality lighter they are.
Smaller size panels lighter.
Yes pretty easy .
Unless making your own, configuration. attaching to wall of house etc. Then takes a little thought and drilling first time

My boys can shlep boards together from around age 10. They need some adult supervision to assemble at least the first year or 2 but it’s pretty straightforward.

I'm assuming it depends which one you have but ours isn't up yet.

First dh thought he did it himself but something fell apart, that was last week. So today he tried again with a helper (unskilled, but more hands.) I had a feeling something was wrong when ds came inside looking for tools and screws, I thought it was supposed to have everything it needed built in. I asked DD with the yard-facing window how things seemed to be going, and she said it looked good but then she said they seemed to be taking one side down to redo which didn't sound so good. Finally an hour or two later I got up the nerve to see for myself, less than half is up which is as good as nothing because the sides stabilize each other, the helper (unskilled but extra hands) has been dismissed, dh is off in search of a new helper, and Sukkos is in 3 days. I'm in favor of going back to our old, less pretty Sukkah which is still in the garage but dh does not generally stop a project once embarked so I guess I'm on my own for anything else our family needs in the foreseeable future.
