Help- which communities should we look at. We are looking to move to Eretz Yisroel within the next two years. We are young family with one child, husband is in kollel, wife works full time job. We identify with American yeshivish/Israeli charedi, want a place where women are supporting and men are learning. Places less expensive than Ramat eshkol/sanhedria. Very warm, friendly community. I have a smartphone for work.
Any ideas?

If you are a young couple, come and rent for the year. Each neighborhood and sometimes blocks has it's own ''taste''. As said above Neve Yaakov can be a good start. So many areas there. Get in touch with an agent to explain types in neighborhoods. From there you can ask around, and visit other areas for Shabbos if need be.
