I'm seeing this trend everywhere, from the very high end brands, to the more affordable ones. That being said, I don't really like this look for myself.

It really depends on the style, I've seen some gorgeous looking ones that are definitely shabbos. I'd say even the sportier styles are more elevated casual. It wouldn't be a style I'd wear to do a quick grocery run, it's more for when you're dressing up.

I'm so excited because it's on my palette and I have the hardest time finding shoes especially when they were all menswear inspired or square toe. Gross. An elevated ballerina looking shoe or chic Mary Jane is just what I need.

Some of them make the legs look wider I find though...
