.. in Jerusalem.
Can anyone recommend such a school for a 15 year old?
Preferably with a good system of integration of new olim.
Chorev came up more than once but someone told me „they gor worse“, can someone comment on that? In what respect is it worse?

I don't know much about schools but I have heard of many new olim going to pninei chen in Ramat Beit Shemesh and many girls travel in from Yerushalyim.

You’re looking for darcei Sara, which is a mamach under netzach. Search for דרכי שרה. I don’t know about their olim integration because we moved younger children.

Darcei Sara
Ohr Sara
Lapidot ( more american then the other two)
Beit Shulamit ( more left then the other three, but I mentioned because you considered Chorev)

I am not sure I can do a bais yaakov. Maybe a bit more to the left.
I need strong academics and frum but not very sheltered or strict.

Did you prefer an ulpana or a seminar?
If you want a seminar, I’d look at darkei sara which is a charedi mamlachti or mamach.
If you want an ulpana, we can give you suggestions too.

Not Lapidot then. Maybe Ohr Sarah or Darkei Sarah, if she's happy to dress chareidi also out of school.
Possibly Beit Shulamit, which is more open.
Do you want a place with a dorm? (Expensive.) Then possibly Machon Talya, but it might be too academic and too open.
There are many places outside Jerusalem, too, especially in Beit Shemesh.
How is her Hebrew?
You can ask me questions here. I have quite a few girls, b"H, and experience with a lot of different schools.

Darchei Sarah and Beit Shulamit are popular choices with the anglo crowd in between dati leumi and Israeli chareidi (american yeshivish).
If you want something Chardal, check out Ulpanat Ateret Rachel or Ulpanat Tehila. Both in Jerusalem. They are strong religiously. I don't know too much about academics though. I also don't know how they are with olim.
Machon/Ulpanat Talya has a very broad spectrum of girls, I really don't think it is what you are looking for. It is huge culture shock for a girl coming from a more religious home. I wouldn't classify it as particularly frum.
Maybe check out Tzviya Maale Adumim, it is commutable from Jerusalem. They are stronger religiously than the Tzviya in Yerushalayim, and the academics are good. Though I don't know it is is like in the past 2-3 years.

Sorry to hijack, but I'm looking for a chill BY for my daughter. We're looking to move to RBS and not sure what our options are aside from Ko Tomar and Bnos HaRama (I think Peninei Chen might be a bit too permissive, but not sure). It seems like nobody's ever in the office at KT, so I'm not getting results from there. Other BY high schools in the area?

To the OP, Ahavat Yisrael in RBS sounds like it might fit.
About the chill BY, what do you mean exactly? Ko Tomar is quite strict, but in certain nuances it's less than the more Israeli BYs. They let long skirts, but they're quite makpid on tznius. No black tights until the winter is a new rule.
Even Bnot Harama has standards, but it's definitely not a regular BY. Peninei Chein is the only BY-style school I would actually describe as chill. Most girls there probably have smartphones, but not all.
There is a new school called shalhevet that's even more open than pninei chein. It's for girls who want to be in the system but without the principal hanging over their heads.

Can you tell me about Ulpanat Ateret Rachel please? Never heard and we’re looking.

Ateret Rachel and Tehila are quite similar, one is a bit more chardal than the other, but I don't remember which. They are Merkaz HaRav/Har Hamor style.
