Kasha in chicken soup instead of noodles. I grew up with it and interestingly enough I'm the best mommy when I make it for supper.

Latkes with cranberry sauce. I was pregnant when Chanukah happened on Thanksgiving...
Tuna salad made with marinated artichoke hearts instead of mayo.

I have seen my father eat this all the time and I started doing it too. And love it.
Shnitzel with mashed potatoes and chrain.

Scrambled egg sandwich with ketchup. Though lately I heard from others that they also like it so maybe it’s not so weird.

My family delicacy is mac & cheese with tomato soup in the pasta. It's a throwback to the famous Chicago Jerusalem Pizza mac and cheese, if anyone remembers it.
I also love to make tradition soup and add mozzarella cheese to it.
Anon because anyone who knows me knows I do this.

Am I the only one who thinks all you have said is normal? Hehe.. perhaps my whole cooking is weird.
I add interesting things to challah as topong while baking, like anise or polenta. Not weird for me, but for sure for others.

Love me some raw minute rice sprinkled on cornflakes with milk! First time I saw DH do this I thought he wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing, but he sure was! It’s that extra crunch 👌

We grew up eating cucumbers in cottage cheese with salt and garlic. Thought (and still think) it's a totally normal thing to eat but I sure got some funny looks from others as an adult!
