Are gefen noodle soups pas yosroel? If not, what brand is?

They are precooked so I'm thinking they need to be PY even though we recook them? Help a clueless girl out, for the aseres yemai teshuva Smile

gefen noodle soups are bishul yisrael. the noodles are fried. not baked. they wouldn’t require pas Yisrael either way.

It does not say pas yisroel on the label. Not sure if it matters, but it's made in singapore.

I don’t understand, if you trust the hechsher then you trust that it’s halachicly kosher, no?

It’s kosher all year long but many people are strict that specifically during aseres yimay teshuva they only eat pas yisroel
