I have a large family ka"h and despite all that, I've always managed to daven "as much as I could" on R"H and Y"K. This year I have a newborn, and I struggling to figure out what that means. We have a lot to daven for, and of course klal yisroel needs it too. Shul is about a 10 min walk away--if I walk slowly. Do I try to go? At all? (I usually go every shabbos, my kids like getting out)
Physically I feel fine, its more a feeling of tiredness depending on how much I sleep.

Following for chizzuk. I also have a newborn and have a hard time with the likelihood that I won't get much davening done between my baby and older kids. I haven't even considered the idea of going to shul.

You just gave birth. You have a newborn & other kids to take care of. Your place is now at home. It is your holy tafkid & worth the same, if not more, to hashem then going to shul to daven.

Don’t go out walking if you recently gave birth .
It could postpone your recovery
It’s in your best interest, to take it easy
Daven at home & rest
Your job now is to take care of you & newborn .

I've always been told "walking as tolerated" is beneficial for postpartum. The shul is more like 7-8 mins away.

Thanks for sharing! I came here to post it.
OP - the mitzvah from the Torah is to fast. Not to daven. DO NOT WALK TO SHUL if it will make it harder for you to fast. Especially if you're nursing. Better for you to lay on the couch the whole day and keep your fast. It doesn't feel as fancy but that's the mitzvah.

My mother always says the tafkid on RH for a mother is to say silent tefillahs to Hashem whilst feeding and changing the kids.
