One of them has wax on. Will it ruin it/bend the silver if I pour boiling water over it?

I can only say don't pour the water/hot wax down your drain.

Wax has a much lower melting point than boiling water.
I would probably submerge in water that had called slightly and then use my fingernail to remove the softened wax.

For a menorah I read to make the wax cold and it’s easy to remove

Not a problem If it's sterling silver
If it's covered by some coat that prevents tarnishing is would check if it's ok.
Don't let the hot water and melted wax into your drain and not even in the toilet. It will block your drains. .I have personal experience and in learned my lesson. I so it in a plastic bag and throw out the water in garbage

As long as it's real silver and not lacquered, it's fine. But don't let the wax-laden water go down the drain. Let it cool, skim the hardened wax off the top and discard.

Do it with a hairdryer and then wipe away the wax with a soft non scratch fabric.
