I want you get a skincare routine so that I can wear no makeup more often.
My skin is pretty bad now. I have large poles, red areas ect. I need help with product recommendations. I do not want to buy from someone who only sells one company cuz I want to make sure that I am getting the right products.
I'm in the monsey area. Any recommendations where I can go? THANKS

It’s trial and error. First do your research of what ingredients are good for your issues, than read reviews for products. But everyone’s skin in unique so your skin might react differently.

I have oily skin. I dab a paper towel on my face there’s an oil stain TMI
Combination is if you have some oily spots but also places where you feel dry.
It’s important to note that oily skin can also be (and usually is) dehydrated, so it still needs moisturizer. But a more lightweight one.

Hi op,.

Im 32 and dont have great skin.
I have lots of pores and some redness, get spots etc.
I used to wear makeup everyday never dreamed Id go out without yet here I am.
And im fine with it.
Yeah I dont look my best but too bad.

I dont really know how to advise you, But I can tell you what I do.
Ignore if doesnt apply.

I got myself a good face cream with Spf 50.
Cera ve.
I use it every morn. Religiously.
I wash my face every night with face wash.
Twice a week I exfoliate.
Sometimes I combine the 2.
Moisturise every night with night moisturiser.
I use nivea.

Whenever I put on makeup I also try and remove straight away.
The feeling actually irks my skin.
I feel like Im painted. Wierd.

I think Iv just gotten older and care less about looks and what people think.
I have challenges in other areas and Im just dropping one ball.
Id never have thought Id be this type of woman.
I still love to do my nails.
And I like to get my lashes permed and tinted so I look nice.
I get my eyebrows done and tint them myself so thats already a good base.

When im talking about makeup Im talking about face.
I do my eyes a little bit somedays if I can be botheres.

Bare minerals powder saved me! I always had breakouts and redness and foundation made it worse until I found this powder. I sleep in it too!

If you get pimples, shine and pores on your cheeks too, then its oily. But if it’s just t-zone then probably combination

Go to sephora and find a knowledgeable sales girl. If you live in monsey, I once had nice experience with the Asian girl at Nanuet shops sephora. Tell them your concerns and they will put together a routine for you. Whatever you don't like, you can return within 60 days....
