Would I do better in Williamsburg or Boro Park? Especially money-wise? My husband is only willing to drive me to one neighborhood tomorrow and I want to make the right choice.

I feel like certain items, like skirts, you can only buy the jewish taste in jewish stores
I felt the same way with maternity

Pleats in the W mall in Williamsburg is a great store. They carry a huge variety and the saleswomen are super helpful. Someone suggested Odelle, it’s also is also in the same mall but I never shopped skirts there so I wouldn’t know.

In midtown theres a couple of Jewish skirt wholesalers . Let me know if you want more info. I can try to find exact location (I just know where to go from when I go with my sisters)

If you want to be 100% you’re finding skirts S&w is your best bet.
Not cheap, but by far the selection,quality and help.

I don’t think you’ll find any skirts cheaper than $70-100 in Williamsburg. I don’t know about boro park.

Try BP. Go to S&W and a couple of other places mentioned here. You’ll for sure find things you love. Sales help in most of these stores is nice but might be overwhelmed and busy these days. Ask for help they’ll help you find what you need.
